Leonardo da Vinci: Secrets of a Renaissance Genius

The Original Renaissance Man Full of Surprises

The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, representing the Renaissance genius who was also an inventor, scientist, and visionary thinker.

Leonardo da Vinci wasn’t just a painter—he was a scientist, inventor, and visionary. A lefty, he wrote in mirror script, possibly to keep ideas secret. He was also ahead of his time in ethics, reportedly a vegetarian who freed caged birds.

Despite masterpieces like Mona Lisa, da Vinci was infamous for leaving works unfinished, always chasing new ideas. He sketched flying machines centuries before aviation and dissected bodies to study anatomy, making medical-grade drawings.

Beyond art and science, he even designed extravagant royal celebrations, complete with mechanical lions. His boundless curiosity made him a true Renaissance genius.
