Nature's Accidental Masterpiece

A lush green tunnel of trees curving over a railway track in Klevan, Ukraine, known as the Tunnel of Love.

Deep in western Ukraine, an old industrial train track accidentally became one of the most romantic places on Earth. As a train repeatedly passed through the dense forest near the town of Klevan, it carved a perfect green archway through the trees — a natural tunnel so enchanting it became known as the Tunnel of Love.

Stretching nearly 3 miles, the tunnel is still an active railway, used a few times a day by a private wood-processing train. But in between runs, it’s a popular destination for couples, photographers, and travelers chasing fairytales. Local legend claims that if lovers walk the full tunnel while making a wish, it just might come true.
