Twisted Together
How Pretzels Became a Symbol of True Love

That salty twist isn’t just a snack—it has a sweet history. Legend says monks in 7th-century Europe created pretzels to resemble arms crossed in prayer, naming them after the Latin word bracellae—“little arms.”
