Mystical Seascape of Legends and Limestone Giants

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam...

Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Vietnam, is a surreal seascape of emerald waters and misty limestone islands—over 1,600 of them. Legend says dragons descended to protect the land, their tails carving out valleys and cliffs that filled with sea, giving the bay its name: “Ha Long” or “descending dragon.”

Exploring by boat or kayak reveals hidden lagoons, floating villages, and dramatic caves like Sung Sot, filled with otherworldly rock formations. On nearby Cat Ba Island, hikes through rainforest reward visitors with panoramic views of this mythic landscape.

With every turn, Ha Long Bay reveals another quiet wonder—a place where nature and legend flow together.
