007 - The Code for James Bond

Has a Special Designation

James Bond, the iconic British spy created by Ian Fleming, first appeared in Casino Royale in 1953. His famous code number, 007, marks him as a "00" agent—licensed to kill on behalf of MI6. Fleming chose the number because it was short, sharp, and easy to remember, drawing inspiration from real British espionage terms he encountered during his own intelligence work.
